Description
Vintage 1990s Mikio (Kennedy) New York Inc. tie dye single stitch t-shirt (Fruit of the Loom USA tag, size XL). Shirt features “Living Planet” artwork by William Giese and was produced by Mikio (both of whom did Grateful Dead shirts). Fully intact tee with no dry rot, and the full shirt remains pliable/flexible. Screen printing ink still has fresh texture. Ships safely poly-sleeved and padded in a secure, well-taped box :)
Measures approximately 23″ armpit to armpit, and 30.5″ top of neckline to bottom hem.
History of the garment: This shirt is authentic deadstock from a now defunct store which operated in a Northern Virginia shopping mall in the 90s carrying alternative culture periodicals + apparel.
